This is my second review. The merge is the downfall of BoxyCharm. I didn’t like Ipsy so I cancelled for Boxy yet here we are with sample sizes and increased prices. I have loved boxy for years and have vouched for the company for several friend and brought boxy new members. All that means now is more disappointment customers.

Horrible now that it was taken over by Ipsy. I’ve been a loyal subscriber for years to Boxycharm and what a let down. Products received in the first box since Ipsy took over were small, cheap, and boring. Definitely cancelling. Really not worth it.

Has boxycharm and ispy teamed up together

I paid $31.79 on March 14th 2023 for April's Boxycharm box. Went online to do choice on April 2nd but it will not take me to my choices. My account under "membership" says, "You will receive your next box in May." Why wont I get my Boxycharm box until May?

Omg…. I’m totally broken hearted …. So obv this is the first month with Ipsy…. I got my pick the il makiage mascara and aceology mask boooo and you guys the next three items were items that were in the drop sale for what over a yr maybe two and I got a five dollar palettes Zoeva a mini one that sells for 16 buks at the store wow and a no name brand cheap lippie again a shop sale item for five buks and noooo lala Kent bronzer omg ….. in all the years with my boxy which is what made me fall in love with cosmetics at fricken 51 and now wow …. I don’t know what too think …. I’m Canadian I paid 49 buks and for what you cannot tell me those items were at all close too even 100 never mind the usual well way more than that …. I wudda been happier with last month beauty bakery palette … I’m broken hearted and boxy day was my fav of the month …so for me too spend 49buks so 50 buks a month ?????????????

I have been missing 4 months of the boxes I paied for I'm no longer going to trust their services.

I really hate the process to cancel they make it impossible this company should be taken to court.

Where should a customer start? This company has gone down in product value the customer service is a bot and your order may or may not come to you but they will go through all your credit cards on file to get their money. Most of the products are the wrong skin color and are old and expired. I think someone should investigate and audit the books, and warehouses for all of this shady business. I bet if this hits mainstream media they will go down like Morphe.

I cannot cancel my subscription! The last step says I have to click a link in an email they will send me. The email never arrives, I’ve done it several times and have checked spam box.

I don't know who they hired to put the variations together, but you might need to clean house as the last few boxes have been complete garbage. I just received my February box and it had 3, count that 3 eyeshadow palettes. No one wants that in a box of 5 items. Especially when the pallets are bad quality (Athr Beauty) and boring (beauty bakerie). Could y'all not come up with anything interesting or creative for valentines day, cause I think that one is pretty easy. I reached out to get a refund for sending this back, because it surely was NOT worth 25 bucks. No one wants this stuff, stop giving me your bottom-of-the-barrel goods. I'm over this subscription. I hope your "big news" is that you are under new management because this month is unacceptable.

Not impressed. 90% of what i received is nothing i can use. Gave some away and threw some in the trash...made in China. Received 2 of 3 shipments. No one to actually talk to....customer service is a joke. I cancelled but they already charged my card. Would like a refund, but i bet that never happens. Will go through dispute process. UPDATE....5 days later still no contact from Boxy.

Complete garbage!!! I was sent a face wash, some reusable face wash pads, facial mist, a bottle of glitter and bronzer stick. I bought the premium package. They say they tailor the products to you. I’m not sure what a 40-year-old woman is going to do with a bottle of glitter. Complete waste of money. I took the entire box and threw it in the garbage! Don’t waste your time or your money.

I paid for a year in advance. I attempted to cancel the program and they make it impossible. I filled out the information and it then requires you to reply to an email to confirm cancellation but even though I responded to the email the moment it arrived, it said the time to respond was past. I attempted 4 times in a row - same results.
In addition, products have no correlation to survey you complete to receive products you want. I received the same box every month as a friend 35 years my junior and of a different race and skin type.
Please know that I made several attempts over the last several months to cancel and I am now going to have to go through the credit card company to get these packages to stop shipping. I cannot reach Boxycharm at all. No matter what email or site info I use, which are listed in their site and in bot emails they send, you receive a reply saying no such address can be found.

All items were on clearance. No Phone Number to call to receive support or email support. i thought i was to receive items from the month of January i received all clearance items

TERRIBLE I havent even received my first box so I have no idea how their products are. Shipped on 1/14 and here we are 1/24, no box. Tracking shows it will be delivered on 1/23, today is 1/24. I dont know why they share the tracking link if it doesnt have any updates. Cant talk to a real person for a status update. I am about to report them as fraud since I paid for products I have yet to receive.

Update-
Its been 48 hours and still no reachout from Boxycharm despite their response to this review which was probably a bot. Take my advice and save your money and your time and do not subscribe to them they are a scam.
